Darn Good Studio was founded in 2021 after I taught myself to darn socks during lockdown. What started as a simple skill soon became a deeper exploration of sustainability and material consumption. Since then, I’ve repaired hundreds of garments from my home studio and have run workshops across the South West, teaching others how to repair their clothes. Sharing the love and skill of mending is at the heart of what I do—helping people extend the life of their clothing while embracing creativity and sustainability.

Repairs taken on a first come, first served basis and when I receive your form I’ll endeavour to get back to you and give you a quote within 72 hours but this can take longer during busy periods. Please note I work 1-2 days on Darn Good per week, alongside my other freelance roles so repairs can take time.

• Denim repair including Sashiko Style visible patching and machine darning, reinforcement of thinning areas, rips, tears and holes.
• Gerenal patching, decorative patching and embellishment.
