Book a Repair

My Mending Order Book is currently FULL. Sign up to my mailing list for notifications when I’ll next be taking on commissions.

Looking to have an item of knitwear or denim repaired?

Each item of clothing is different but have a look at the pricing guide to get an idea of how much your mend might cost.

Step one: Get a quote

I’ll ask to see the item you’d like repaired either in person or by sending me some photos.

Step two: We make a plan

From there we will agree on a mending process - colours, style, and the price. This includes the time it takes to repair, particularly due to the size of the mend or the extent of the damage, but also whether you’d like me to use new or second-hand materials.
This means I might use threads sourced at charity shops or given to me via donation to encourage sustainability. Using new threads for repair will be slightly more expensive.

Step three: Timeframe

We’ll agree on an estimated time for mending and then…

Step four: Your item will be returned to you, all fixed up.

…and hopefully you’ll love it and keep using / wearing it for ever and ever (or until it needs another repair!)
